Summer Holidays?
Hi Everyone, I thought it would be interesting to see where and wot everyone is getting up to this summer?
I'm currently helping at my local primary school (untill they break up for the summer) then we are off to the south of France for our camping holiday. I was looking at the temperature on the computer this afternoon and it was 20oc in Peterborough and 34oc where we are going!!!! Lets hope it stays that way!

Re: Summer Holidays?
We've just come back from a lovely time in France with Eurocamp. Can't fault them at all, they are a really friendly bunch and great if you need anything
.
The weather was great and had NO rain at all, the food was great (ate too much) and the booze was great (not had enough)
. We visited a few places but generally just chilled out. It was the first holiday that OH and myself had on our own as the lads wanted to stay at home. Came home to a clean and tidy house
. Visited a few World War 1 memorials and they will put our cemetries to shame, they are well kept with well mown lawns and fresh flowers on all the graves.

Hi Thomas,
I'm off to Tenby - camping - on Tuesday. Taking my dog to the seaside for the first time, even though she is 7 years old, so will be taking the camera. Hope to make lots of scrapbook pages from my pics.
Hoping the weather will pick up by then

Re: Summer Holidays?
I'm dragging Hub off on a walking holiday in Portugal. I belong to a couple of walking groups & he's always saying he doesn't know why I come back from a walk tired as there's nothing to walking, so I told him to put his money where his mouth is & we're off in the middle of Sept. Will be taking plenty of pics of him lying down gasping for breath every 10 mins. Before then, a long week-end in & around Norwich at the end of this month.
Re: Summer Holidays?
Oh Bunty I so know what you meen lol nothing to walking ha I used to do a fare bit of walking and i loved it but as well as being hard work it kept me very fit. I look forward to the piccy of hubby
maybe you cld scrap them lol.
I'm sure you will have a wonderful time the great thing about walking is you get to talk about so much! if hubby isn't panting too much
(apart from blisters) although I never suffered with them take some good walking boots and the special plasters for blisters (I am no doupt preaching to the converted though lol)
Have a wonderful time.

Hi all
I went to costa dprado and barcelona - got back last sat.
Not to enamoured with costa dorada so wont be going back. we stayed in villafortuny which is sandwiched between cambrills and salou. both within walking distance and on the main bus route.
weather was scorching - our hotel was right on the beach so nice walks at night time.
went on a day trip to barcelona, saw around Nou Camp, the unfinished church, the olympic stadium, the aquarium and the fountains at night.
Drank lots of pina coladas and spent lots of money even although all the shops were majorly tacky bucket and spade shops. got a nice colour and had my hair cut and coloured over there - difficult trying to make the hairdresser understand what i wanted and im sill getting used to it.
My fav holiday destination is las vegas and we will be returning to it in 2010 to renew our wedding vows all dressed up and in one of those tacky chapels - cant wait!
Looking forward to my next break away which is in august when i go to the Ideal World studios for a days crafing with stephanie - really looking forward to it. going there on my weddin anniversay so i guess poor jim will have to amuse himself till i get back!
