Phobias

Post by sarajayne on Wed 21 May 2008, 10:24 pm

only phobia i am aware of is being towed which is such a bad one that the AA, bless them, had to send for a van with a rigid towbar (A frame) years ago when my car broke down. It goes back years when my then hubbie had to tow a car to the garage, he towed and I was in the 'towed car'. I'd only just passed my test and I asked him if I needed the car keys in. Without thinking he laughed and said no! As we rounded a corner the steering lock went on and my car shot straight across the road, missing a lorry and stopped short of the Co-Op window as the tow rope snapped! It would have been great in a sitcom but being towed makes me feel I'm going to pass out, lol. He is my EX hubbie now!!!

Have to agree feet are a no no, apart from babies, which is how you know when your baby boy has grown up!
Anyone with a spider phobia should invest in a cat, hours of entertainment watching the little balls of fur chase round after the 8 legged fiends.
My biggest fear is heights, which is strange cos I LOVE big fast rollercoasters. Go figure!!!!!!
Surprised

I woke hubby up at 3 in the morning to get rid of a spider, i really hate them with a passion. And they seem to always get in my washing........strange Sad

And dogs, I used to have 2 dogs, but sadly they passed away a few years ago, then I got bit by a stray when i tried to get him out of my garden and now it has scared me that much, i freeze and go into blind panic when a dog is running loose.
i have a beautiful black lazy cat now. and my daughters 2 pet rats. Bizzle and blacky and no..... the cat isn't bothered by the rats, they get on quite well.
