Luelles comfy couch

Post by **Luelle** on Wed 18 Jun 2008, 10:55 pm

Hello one and all thought I would make a little space in the room to sit down chill out and put yer feet up for a bit, chat about anything you like and doesn't have to be craft related if you don't like just how your day has been any exciting news or requests for tips if your struggling with something crafty or uncrafty etc.

My exciting news (apart from being back) is that my new workshop well glorified shed arrives in just one week woo and can't wait woo hoo cheers cheers cheers although it does arrive when I won't actually be in (Kody will be in hosp and me with him fro op #2) so will have to trust my sister and prey they dont drop any of it pmsl.

BTW has anyone got any tips on removing that stuff you get in throw away nappies thats like gel when it gets in your washing machine cos I have to wash the whole thing out then wash the same thing over and over again to get rid of it. Kody wears pj pants (the throw away kind) and has a habit if hes tired of throwing them in the wash then oh comes along trying to help and then just shoves em in the wash. Or should I just work on reprogramming oh Smile Smile Smile .

Heres a piccy of the shed not THE one but that model and sizexxx

When I get it all sorted and how I like it there have been a few people asking about classes not so much me teaching them as using all the equipment plus I have an order for a scrap book and only ever done one before but don't have to start it until the workshop is habitable as the client knows I don't have room where I am at the mo.
Will be taking you guys in there though so to speak as will be using my laptop in there and may be looking for a local crafting buddy with a chilled out attitude who likes the occasional glass of wine out on the veranda on nice days or vimto pmsl Laughing xxx

Who needs templates when you have a cricut!

Post by **Luelle** on Mon 23 Jun 2008, 3:07 pm

At present about 5 mins from going picking up Kody from school he's been a likttle nervous of his next op, doesn't show it through the day just when he's trying to sleep. So I didn't go to bed till 2am , neighbours must love me as I decided to shampoo the carpet Very Happy . Today decided to have a stab at doing a "home" card/book but don't have the template so decided to get to grips with scal and voila hope you like it.

Thanks Janet everything crossed, and thanks for the compliment some times stuff just pops in my head, others I get inspiration from other peoples projects and then of course there are specific customer requirements (for example the spongebob card) or I get something from a mag and think "what can I turn that into?".
Anyways your work is fabulous and have seen first hand what you can do you do a marvelous job and I think you should post more of your stuff on here so everyone can see how talented you are. xxx
