hello every one. What's happening with you? have really missed you all.

Hi I have been a little poorly and not been out or on comp for ages, I have really missed you all and I have missed crafting too.

While I have been away lots has happend, I'm going to be a grandma, I'm very excited as i have had three boys, I do hope she has a girl, (healthy baby is enough) but a girl would be lovely, so lots of scrapping going to be going on with a new baby (due in Nov)

I, well husband (love him so) has decorated our bedroom, I helped .... I have destressed some old draws and painted the wardrobes, I have took pictures B4 & After so will scrap them at some point. may show you the pics reall a great transformation lol.

My sixteen yr old just finished school, (has to go back for last few exams but they have all left) how quickly they grow.

Garden is coming on lots of yummy fruit and veg growing YAY the SUN has come out to play at last.

And finally got to see a specialist and will be going into hospital for a few days sometime soon (nothing serious I hope, just some more tests).

so that's me what has been happening with you all?

Hi Dawn,

Good to see you back on the forum and hope you are better now.

My exams are going OK, I have only have three though! However I have had chicken pox for the last week so haven;t been able to go to college. It was a good job that I have had no exam last week!
I have got one week then I have lots all together for two week then I have finished. Hooray.

good luck for that Tom and hope that you have recovered from the chicken pox ok all my lads have had them but I never have, I was worried I would get it as they say its worse when your older hope it wasn't too bad for you.

Shawn my middle son only has a few left but wow, left school and starts collage in Sept he will be using this week to look for work as he would like to give up his paper round lol

I had to have my elder cat put to sleep last week. She was only 8 but had a tumour on her lung and couldn't breathe. (not the cat in my avatar)

Went to a fab demo by Gina Rose on saturday at Enfield CC. Asked to see the new multi punch but it's been delisted so bought the x cut border punch system instead - reduced to £7.50 a def bargain

Not been card making lately. I have no inspiration at all

Oh Alison so sorry to hear about Tilly what a beautiful cat and I'm sure it was agreat 8yrs that she had with you.

Re inspiration have you seen the oriental card on docraft site I shall be popping into my CC to buy the paper and stamps for that one, I don't do oriental normally however it's agreat card with the fans it's in the top 10 of new projects go have a look.

I'm glad you think i'm too young to be a grandma, don't feel it though lol

Sorry to hear you've been poorly Dawn, hope you soon feel much better. Poor Tom with Chicken Pox and oh bless Alison, sorry to hear about your cat.
We were thinking we'd have to wind up our (very) small business but a couple of things have come together to give us a reprieve although on a smaller scale.

I went to CC at Whitchurch at the weekend and thanks to the staff I can now emboss on my Cuttlebug with the papermania brass stencils. Bought a lovely box of card and paper too. Breaks my heart to cut the paper, lol. I'm limiting myself to one die and one embossing stencil a month now!! Or that's the plan anyway!

June is full of birthdays so I'm having a lovely crafting time and learning all the while - may even put one or two in the gallery soon

Oh can't wait to see yr card sara, and the cuttle bug is SO addictive lol I bought one last month and already have at least 8 emboss folders there yummy, and some die cuts too.

Is it a crafty business? whatever it is I'm glad that your on safe ground.

Alison i have the papers and going to be doing these is lots of colours but today I will be making a card for hubby as it's his Birthday tomorrow! I bought a special stamp so will hopfully get this on the site L8A to day! so much to do so little time lol

I'm getting a 2nd hand Wizard on Monday. Think I'll call it "Harry" . Am quite excited - how sad it that Tried one at a demo ages ago and loved it but too many pennies then

can't wait to see what you come up with, a Wizard similar to a cuttlebug isn't it? if it's as good as that you will have a whale of a time. I will be posting some work in the card part of the Gallery L8A so pop and have a look will be greatful for your comments.

Hey Alison what happened with the Wizard need to see what you have been up too! And Sarah jane would love to see whats happening with your JUNE B.D. cards lets have them in the Gallery, you will have to share the PM Brass stencillinf thing too I only have a few but I do have a cuttlebug so would be nice to use them if I can.

Haven't used the wizard yet - in fact haven't been crafting lately. Not been too well and seem to be asleep a lot

Been checking the forum on and off but there doesn't seem to much happening on here ( or is it just me being dozey )

I tend to agree Alison, it does seem very quiet on 'ere. I'm sorry you haven't been well, hope your ok if you ever need a chat you can always PM me. I wish sometimes I could sleep even when I have a good sleep I wake up tired lol
