Whether it is you making the noise or not supernan,it wouldn't be the same without you Very Happy

Hope the create and craft demo goes well tomorrow. I would really love to come down but really don't think I am going to be able to fit it in.

Glad you were pleased with your watercolours supernan. I look forward to seeing what you make with them all.

See you all soon

Well Bod; Kathy, the demonstrator, was very nice and she made some lovely cards. It was fairly quiet and well behaved until you know who turned up but we had a good time even if the shop was not provided with some sets of lovely peel offs and a reasonably priced trimmer that the demonstrator had (other shops have them so hopefully Graham will be able to divert some to Dartford). Both Supernan and I bought the Christmas Glitter kit being demonstrated even though yesterday Nikki and I didn't think much of it. It looked very much nicer once we had seen it action so to speak. Hope you had a good time today.

santa rendeer well Christmas will soon be here. Happy crafting to all.

You really are going to be giving someone a complex you know Wink

Shame about them not having the stock in. Hopefully they will be able to get it before too long. As you saw on Friday, I am a bit short on peel offs and always need new ones Wink

I'm feeling sorry for myself today as I have come down with a cold over the weekend which I really didn't need. It's not so easy to make cards when you are worried about your nose dripping on your makes.

Had a productive day on Saturday making good progress with my Christmas cards. I have just been asked this morning to do a stall at the Christmas coffee morning at the end of November in Hextable, so I really need to get busy and make some stock.

I have just returned from another very successful coffee morning (actually they threw me out of the shop so they could close up.) My most heartfelt thanks go to Sandy who let us make a Waterfall card under her direction and I apologise if we appeared at times not to be paying attention and being disruptive (I refer to Supernan, of course). I am now looking forward to next Friday when Sandy will again be in charge and letting us make a Christmas tree box. Before that Supernan and I will be going to Ally Pally for the Knitting and Stitching show and I am sure she will behave herself. Laughing Laughing Laughing It is a good job we are friends 'cause she is bigger than me Laughing Laughing . Happy crafting to all.

I had a lovely time yesterday as always. Although I suspect there will be a few who regret allowing me and supernan to sit together. Am very pleased with my card especially with my rounded corners and coloured brads Wink

See you all soon

Hi All
Well I am exhausted today, had a really great day yesterday at the Knitting and Stitching Show. A certain person told me to get on the train at Swanley at 9.36. And guess what, there was TWO trains at that time heading for Victoria, luckily I knew she was getting on the train at Farningham, so could pin down which one I wanted, one was coming in on platform 1 the other on platform 3 (up and over the bridge)
Anyway, we had lots of laughs and lots of bargains, great day out.
Well Bod, guess what, I have not got a rubber that buzzes at me when I use it,, I don't have to make the noise myself anymore.
(Must admit it's really good)
Looking forward to doing the Christmas Tree Box today, it looks really pretty. I will probably be quiet today as I am shattered after yesterday's excitement. (I can hear you all say NEVER!!!). You can live in hopes.
Happy crafting flower flower

She lied Smile but then did anyone really believe that Supernan could go two hours without being noisy. We had another great time at the coffee morning (which is, of course, held in the afternoon) and my thanks go to Sandy for the instructions and help for the Christmas Tree box. Next Friday Supernan and I will be in charge and Supernan says she expects everyone to behave themselves and watch out if you are not quick enough Laughing Laughing I hope everyone remembers what they need to bring. We had a great day out together yesterday even if I didn't realise some people are lucky enough to have a choice of trains to London Rolling Eyes Now this will come as a shock to everyone I will not be in the shop again until next Friday (unless, of course, new stock comes in and somebody lets me know). Hope you had a good time today Bod and you have not gone into the red at the bank.

Happy crafting to all.

Glad you had a good time at the show yesterday and at coffee meet today. I had a great day although my spending was very restrained. I came home with cash in my pocket for what must be the first time ever!

It was lovely though and I did get some lovely bits and pieces.

Unfortunatelt I won't be at the next coffee meet as I have a parent consultation at the school with William's teacher and my mum is coming up to see me too.

Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Bargains Galore!!

Post  chez on Sun 12 Oct 2008, 1:00 am

Hi all

Just a quickie to say we have some great stocking fillers instore at the moment... And they are only £1!!! Very Happy Very Happy

We have the most gorgeous coloured ink pads and glitter glues, clear stamps, pencils, paints and lovely little etching sets where you design your own stickers, suncatchers and magnets. Grown ups and kids will love them!!

The only problem is they are selling fast.... so you'll have to be quick girls!!!
(This is probably because the delivery came whilst the coffee morning ladies were there on friday...... I've never seen them move so fast!!!!) Laughing

So, if you want to grab a bargain for just £1 then why not pop in, we'd love to see you.

Craft Central Dartford

Post  Meg Doggies on Fri 17 Oct 2008, 10:27 pm

Another Friday coffee meeting has taken place which hopefully everyone enjoyed. I had to work very hard as Supernan and I were in
charge of the making of exploding boxes but guess who turned up late and then spent the time chatting and drinking coffee Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
Next week is a "free for all" when we each take something to do and if anyone is interested we show them how to do it trouble is I have run out of ideas at the moment for something different. I must put my thinking cap on study Shall go into the shop for the Mega
Deal tomorrow that is if they arrive as they hadn't when I left the shop at closing time today. I understand also this store is only
getting the rubber stamps not any of the interesting other items or maybe I will be pleasantly surprised tomorrow (was that a flight of pigs I just saw). Will report back again tomorrow after my shop visit. Keep on crafting.

Post  supernan on Fri 17 Oct 2008, 10:42 pm

Hi All
Well I might have guessed that megdoggies would get on line before me and mention that I was late, and very lazy today. I think that going up the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth yesterday, must have over excited me as I just could not get motivated today Sleep Sleep . I should have taken Margaret up on the offer of a lift home (I had no car today), I made the mistake and went to that ghost town called Dartford, had a quick look round (that doesn't take long these days) and decided to get a bus home. I hopped on a bus heading for Swanley, it went to the wrong end of Swanley so had to get another one home. The whole journey took over an hour!! I think I had better put my bus pass away, and stick to the car in future.
Anyway I did enjoy the coffee morning, watching Margaret give the instructions.
Should be fun next week having a free for all.
See you all then
Happy crafting Laughing Laughing

Craft Central Dartford

Post  Meg Doggies on Mon 20 Oct 2008, 9:40 am

Whoops I see I said I would post on Saturday and today is Monday; well they do say time goes faster the older you get Laughing . As expected Dartford only got the rubber stamps (why can't Craft Central support this shop and let them have some new stock) which were very nice, a very good deal and on which I spent part of my winter fuel allowance (which I haven't actually got yet Sad ). Must get on with my Christmas cards as numbers made are still very low and maybe doing them will take my mind off food. I am supposed to be dieting and have to go to the doctor every four weeks to be weighed but got told off last Friday as I have lost nothing over the last eight weeks. Still the good news is that I didn't put any on Laughing .

I had better sign off and get on with the cards otherwise Supernan will have a go at me - mind you I don't know what she has been up to but she has been notably absent on her computer this weekend.

Happy crafting.
