Oh dear. This is a sign of the times I`m afraid. So many have lost their jobs in the past few months, not forgetting people losing their businesses. I hope we can get out from this terrible recession soon.
I wish you all a happy christmas under the circumstances & let`s hope 2009 is better than this year x

I am SO fed up of being treated like a mushroom by this company Evil or Very Mad Just tell us what realy is going on and when we will be paid, an official letter terminating our employment, and may I suggest an appology, would be a start.

I do hope you get all of those requests Larry. You all deserve an apology at least.

We at wakefield feel as if we are living on death row, and as from Saturday we only have 2 staff to run the shop .
Not that it will be hard as we have little stock left on the shelves .
Trimcraft came on Tuesday and removed all thier stock which was about 90% of what we had in store
not even a roll of D/Sided tape to be had .
Some customers are understanding but others are downright rude and nasty , we cant tell them we are closing, but cant say we will be getting orders in
Just wish the axe would fall now if its going to .
Sending good wishes to all the staff still working and to those already gone, hope something turns up for you all very soon
Take care
Rita

It's the lack of information and comflicting stories being told to differant people by Dan and his wife that is realy concerning me, As I believe most majour property is held by his wife(or is it?) he will be OK but I feel he is llike a mad squirrill gathering up as many nuts as he can before winter comes and leaving a smoke screan behind to cover his tracks.

DAN if you are reading this,

Business fail, especially in times like this, and we understand that, but for pitty sake, face it with dignity and treat your staff, who have given you so much devotion and loyalty, with the respect due to them and
TELL US WHAT IS REALY GOING ON!!!!!

I am an ex craft central employee made redundant in the summer, from what i know of administration your wages will not be paid this side of christmas. You will receive a form to complete from the administrator and any money due to you will be paid by the government. Not good news i know but at least now you know and can plan your next move. I wish you all the best of luck and would like to assure you there is life after Craft Central, hold your heads up high and know that you all did a fantastic job as did my girls in the south

Kind Regards

Andrea
