Only met you the once at Daisy Nook but I wish you a brighter future. It seems like all staff are at risk now I have heard Ian has gone also. He was great to work for and I am surprised he lasted this long the pressure he was under. Who knows it may all be for the best for us all so good luck for the future.

Melissa, I’d like to say a big thank you, to you, Lorraine and Jacs for giving me the chance to work with you. It allowed me, not only to work with talented ladies in a creative atmosphere, but also to gain my confidence back after such a debilitating illness.
He is throwing away the best workforce he will ever find, all the forums are full of praise for the helpfulness of c c staff and state the reason they supported the stores, was because of the staff not the contents of the store

Ladies it was a privilege.

I too want to say a big thank you to all the girls (and guys!) at Craft Central.

I did the in-store magazine, Craft Now for about a year and a half and got very close to a lot of the staff. I heard the news that most of you are losing your jobs and I feel terrible for you all. I have read a lot of the posts and it brought a tear (or 2, or 3!) to my eye to see how loyal you have all been to both your jobs and your customers right up til the end. You can be safe in the knowledge that ALL of you can walk away with your heads held high.

I wish you all the best of luck finding new jobs and I hope that, despite everything, you all have a lovely Christmas.

Thankyou for that Melissa, I know I can talk for all the girls from Inverness store (yes and the rest of britian) anyway we would all like to say a HUGE THANKYOU to you for helping us keep our sanity in this insane place, You have been on call to us anytime we needed you for that you have been a godsend, you have become a friend which I know I will keep close to me. as the laughs we have had has always been a joy including the meals out when you came all the way up to see us at the top of the world.
I wish for you to get another job that gives you as much enjoyment that you had in this one and that you have a Merry Christmas with the hubby and kids. The ma lady job hunting starts after that. Although I have been looking but with all the poor folk at woolies too i think there could be more staff than jobs.

You better keep in touch or I know where you live hahaha and its only 6+ hours down the road.

This is just sooooooooooooooooo sad for everyone, I really think that we have all made some great friends so at least we have that to take away from this awful situation.... We were all paid to go to work but the way I see it the friends we will take away were the free bonus!! You ladies are just the best

Yes I agree Melissa we have made some friends and some very close friends, some people I feel I will keep contact with for the rest of my days because we have clicked with each other.
