The Future of the Forum
The higherarchy of CC have not had control of this forum for a long long time, and they have not been happy about that, as I have kept my identity a secret from them, that is why your critical postings have never been deleted, I have maintained the forum generally without censorship. CC do not have the power to close this forum down, even if the website is closed the forum will still be here.
So please do not use it to advertise your own forums etc.
Are you all happy for me to continue with the forum?

I think it would be great
I think that would be good. There are some people who I only know how to contact via this forum
It could still be a central place for crafters!

Yes, I'd like the forum to continue, do you think it would a) be possible, and b) be worthwhile/helpful if we had a specific topic heading that those ex staff awaiting more info on their future payment status etc. could exchange any updates that they may have? I was told unofficially by a fellow member of staff that my job had gone on Dec. 17th, but had nothing official from HQ until a letter arrived on the 20th. I contacted HQ between these dates and although was told nothing about my position, I was given the name of the Administrators and a mobile phone number, which might come in useful if we don't hear something soon, and if this does prove to be the case I'll post the info. on here, wonder how long it would take for their messaging service to go into overload then!!

I do feel that if this forum stays on going the name and colour would have to change what is the point of keeping this bit going when it makes us all so annoyed and brings back the anguish af that man

O.k Susie, I take your point, the name certainly needs to be changed - anyone got any ideas for a new name?
If we choose a few names, I can set up a poll to vote for the new name.

Ex staff info exchange
I quite like that Tom, I did think of the Dan King depreciation Society, but then thought if I hear that name again it will be too soon
