Which Cricut Cartridges are the best?

Hi, I'm currently thinking about buying a Cricut and was wonder which cartridges people find and like the best.

i like base camp for making word books ,disney for childrens cards , etc lol

Cool congrats Thomas a wise decision may I just say one thing before I get back to subject ....book a day off when it comes, no family no friends no commitments just you and your cricut. People will only get upset when you pay them no attention and keep oohing and ahhing at your lovely new purchase or in my case be cross when your "too busy" to pick jr up so oh had to do it that day .
Right that out of the way it depends what you like personally I feel that one fonts cartridge is enough unless you see a style you just absolutely love I don't see the point as you wont really use it that often, for me its all about the shapes and the best I have found so far bearing in mind that I have my expression for about 4-5 weeks and racked up 6 cartridges and use it almost every single day all times of the day I would have to say the one which has the most universal potential is... Paper doll dress up. Why ?

1. you get the people and all there outfits
2. You get animals - dinosaurs, sheep, bats
3. You get people accessories - handbags, hats scarfs that sort of thing
4. you get props -wedding cakes, cars

So the most for your money and as I said the most universal is paper doll dress up. Hope this helps.

Yes thanks Luelle this has been a help, there really is alot of choice, however I need to start saving up for the machine first!!! It will prob be next year!!!!!

I've got a few cartridges for mine

George and Basic that cam with the machine
Base Camp- alphabets and signs
Walk in My Garden- lovely flowers/pots/ladybugs/butterflies/wording
Celebration-anything to do with birthdays/numbers
Christmas Cheer- all things christmasy
Paper Doll Dress up- love this one. Lots of clothes to choose from

I did get 2 of the cartridges for christmas so that wasn't too bad

Going to save up for a few more but I don't now which ones at the moment.

Has anybody else got any ideas for good cartridges?
