I also love this craft. I have just made a card for our store to show customers how delicate and effective it is. We also do parchment class once a month on saturdays 10-12pm.

Hi I dabble a bit in Parchment craft and would love to take some lessons .
Slowly building up all the tools, but there are just so many.
Next purchase will be the scissors, i got the cross cutter tool but finish up with big holes Embarassed

The cross cutter needs its own mat because otherwise it rips the parchment. I have both - well you probably guessed I have a buying problem - but do prefer to use my parchment scissors.

All but two of my embossing tools are Pergamano, which works fine for me.

I have only bought Pergamano tools as well Jackie , as they are easy to find in stores ,(hate waiting for on line purchases to arrive )
Got the mat for the cross cutter but still useless at it ,think im a bit heavy handed Embarassed
The local further education centre runs a class, but not taking any more students till September, so i will be booking in for that.
In the mean time i will continue practising my tracing and embossing skills

I know I might be teaching granny, but you do still prick four holes before you use the cutter don't you. Sorry if I am being offensive. Embarassed

Oh, Rita, I hadn't noticed the age thing. PLEASE believe me that wasn't what I meant about teaching granny! I meant the teaching granny to suck eggs. I hope I haven't offended you. I am not that far behind Razz

Rita, I tried to leave a message and it didn't work so this could come up twice.

I hadn't noticed the age thing when I said about granny - I really did mean teaching granny to suck eggs. I hope you don't think I was being rude. Embarassed

Anyway, the years behind you are very few so I am in no position to make a comment Evil or Very Mad

Hope I haven't offended you pale
