cricut mats
Has anyone any tips on how to make the mats last longer!
Mine seem to lose their sticky quite quickly. I have tried washing them, spraying them with adhesive, sticky dots etc, nothing works.
Any other ideas I could use out there

Re: cricut mats
This has been covered in "how to use" then go to "cricut inspirations" although if you have tried the methods you have mentioned then there is one that may work which I have been using. You put two strips of ds tape on two edges of your paper so the paper sticks to the mat. One word of caution though be sure to not make any cuts where the tape is. Hope this helps happy cutting

Hi everyone,
I have been testing out a new product from P. I which is called no 1 liquid adhesive, it is a repositionable glue which i have found works wonders on your cricut mats, it was suggested to work in strips of glue but I have found that it is best to cover the entire mat, a little goes a long way, i have already used it on 4 6x12 mats 2 12x12 mats and 1 12x24 mats all which have had serious use, you have to put it on and leave it over night, then you are ready to use. Make sure you don't get any on the edges though as this will prevent the rollers working properly.
Hope this helps everyone, please remember that a tried mat will sometimes snag paper due to over use. The cut line make the blade jump, so bear that in mind when you want to use the new glue, go for the least used ones.
Have fun crafting.

Re: cricut mats
Hi
If you have a Zyron 900 machine.... the large A4 size....you can run the Cricut mats through that and it will make them sticky again
Make sure you put them through the right way though, the first time I tried it I put the mat in upside down so it came out sticky on the back of the mat instead of the front

Re: cricut mats
I've got one of those xyron sticky dot rollers so i might try that on an old mat first. The mat I got with the cricut didn't last long but OH bought me a pack of 2 just before christmas and they are still going strong
