Craft Robo or Cricut

Craft Robo or Cricut
I am thinking of getting one or the other of these two machines but which one. I am pretty computer literate so the Craft Robo is tempting on that score for the versatility. What I really want to know is how well do they really cut. I am looking to cut card up to the approx thickness of Bazzill card.
What do you guys think out there?

Re: Craft Robo or Cricut
Hiya Bod well since the release of SCAL I really do think the cricut expressions should be the one you go for because inkscape costs around £33 can be downloaded in a matter of minutes and can cut ANY image on your pc with your cricut the only limitation in the paper or cardstock itself (eg fiddly bits on light paper can tear before cutting completes but that is the same with the robo). Mats and blades are readily available on the cricut whereas I hardly ever see craft robo replacements?
I love my cricut and use almost every day to give you and idea of what you can cut see below this was cut out of white hammer finish cardstock about the same weight as bassil :

You can cut up to 300gsm card stock , they are bringing new blades and tools out:
An embossing blade
Rubber stamp making kit
A longer blade to cut through chip board in one pass!
These are all rumoured to be hitting the shelves soon so well worth looking into I wish you all the best with your descision but would like to add this how many people do you know who bought a robo only to send it away to get a cricut?? I know 16 through other forums xxxx
