Wedding Invitation

Post by Sheila CC Kingsley on Wed 16 Apr 2008, 11:25 pm

Here is a photo of the wedding invitation I have made for my sons wedding. It will be taking place at a castle hence the scroll. I have hand made everything including the scrolls and box.[img][/img]

Wedding Invitation

Post by Sheila CC Kingsley on Sat 19 Apr 2008, 7:27 pm

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I have made the whole thing from scratch, you can't see it but the actual wording has a watermark of the castle where the wedding is happening. I have drawn the curled paper onto parchment paper, coloured it, then placed it on top of the invite and scanned them together. I printed out about 40 of them, my son cut some lengths of 9mm dowling, i made the ends using an air drying clay then painted them gold and stuck them on, then made the scrolls. The sealed stamp has my son and future daughter in law's initials on, so they can keep them as a memento. Very Happy
