This is part of my development work for my A2 Art, I painted a canvas black for the background and used bits of card to scrape paint across it to create the textures Smile

This is my final piece for my AS work, its really big n took over 100 hours with a very fine paintbrush!!! Crying or Very sad
Ps, this isn't quite finished - I can't find a picture of it finished...

Close up Smile

Lol, you said that your canvases were mostly black the other week, Kingfisher! I'd happily make space on my walls for those, your patience has paid real dividends.

I used to paint alot even did collage course with landscapes I find if you get the wash right using watercolours (thats the keyfor me) I love the country side, sky's etc At first everything looked like mud the colours i mean but with a little practice, like anything else i suppose it comes although I have practied croche and can not do that lol there are lots of far more talented people re paint than me though lol I love scetching too.

However, I find I do one thing to death then go onto another last was sewing dresses skirts etc before that, knitting now it's scrapbooking but i do like the variety though.
