Hiya Polly yes all made from card except the ribbon(real ribbon )round the cake and the bride and groom (fimo), there is a company called arty farty design which makes the template to build the basic cake and a box for it to go in, the textured effect was created by putting the flat version of the cake in its various stages through an embossing folder in a cuttlebug.
You could buy the template or borrow a friends then buy embossed card stock to create the patterned icing effect, not talented just able to follow instruction Very Happy but very nice of you to say so. If you strung the time together to make the bride and groom and the box too it was about 4 hr and when I sell them they are £9.50 if that helps, this one wasn't for sale though as my first go with fimo it was for my cousins wedding ...... she was sooo chuffed she took a few pictures of it and has a whole page dedicated to it in her wedding album !!!
