Basic Grey Two Scoops :)

Post by Crafting Learning on Thu 20 Mar 2008, 2:07 am

My ATCs were made with the 6X6 Basic grey 2 scoops - but I have 3 sets of pics that I thought would be really highlighted with the paper so I went and bought the 12X12 set for 15.99 and the rub ons.

Smile Here it is! The only think I added was..... glitter glue (surprize) and since I love the crop-o-dile.. Smile eyelets and brads by paper mainia still! I printed the title and some journaling on the vellum and distressed and chalked the edges everywhere! I love this paper and will post the 'boy' pages I have in my mind when I get them done.

I still see adding some more flower brads..we'll see.

Ok..its 3:50 am. Smile I need to go to sleep...but its soo fun. This summer the children in our neighborhood hosted a pretend wedding. When I saw these papers...I knew they were perfect! The stickers came with the basic grey set - bazzil paper, glitter glue and some dots left over from a translucent peeloff set. Smile
Hope you enjoy.. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Been to a craft central today, been meaning to go for a while it's new in our area, Its in a garden centre (daisy nook) oh my spent over £40 but I did get the two scoops things swoon they are lovely, I am blaming Terri her LOs were so nice Very Happy and when I saw them I knew exactly how you did the things I asked about it's a great pack, not just paper. oh and went shopping at TESCO and they have lots of craft things BOGOF and very reasonable prices too spent about the same there however I did get over £10 off and I'm collecting points too Exclamation I'm sorry I cant help it spend way too much on craft stuff. Just don't ask what the shopping bill came too Rolling Eyes any way the weather is too wet so will be eating and crafting all this easter albino cheers

Yes the weather does sound to good. We were going to go to Hunstanton (seaside) for the day on Monday, but I don't think we will bother now! However the weather people have been known to get things very wrong so this maybe one of those occasions!

Hope everyone has a nice bank Holiday weekend.

Thomas

Well I know that a couple of years ago, we decided that as the garden centre where our CC is would be closed on Easter Sunday we would have a BBQ with everyone from the shop at our house. The only problem was it was that cold and wet we spent the whole day in side!!! Laughing

Hi All - Dawn and CraftAnny

Post by Crafting Learning on Fri 21 Mar 2008, 10:36 am

Dawn,
Sorry I actually slept last night and didn't get on! lol I cant wait to see the pages you make with the new Basic Grey...they are beautiful! I am working on the greens and blues to highlight some pictures from Stow Gardens. I'll upload them Sunday. I really liked the candy paper you used...please share THAT!

CraftAnny - VERY cool page! Strong start...my first ones had alot of white background and simple titles..so you are light years ahead of that Smile

I usually get my inspiration from magazines. And both of the sets of pages came from looking through those. Then you sort of end of modifying them for what you are doing...but it takes a lot of the guesswork out of just starting. Sometimes I just have trouble starting Smile

Hope you all have a good week! Tomorrow we have Do-Craft at Bicester and I have some ATCs to SWAP for the first time!! I am in 'debt' about 3 from customers! lol (they give them to me but I've had nothing to trade - but pokemon cards, if I 'borrowed' some from my son, somehow that isn't the same I've been told cyclops )

Big HUG to all you crafters! Hope your crafting keeps your heart warm even when its coooooooldddd outside.
Terri
