Thanks Thomas and Teresa. Very Happy

With this page it will be kept in my album with the doors closed, but in the past, I have slit the
plastic where the hidden journalling is so that tags can be pulled out and flaps can be lifted.

If i'm doing an album for someone else, the i would probably do the same but if its just for me then its ok to pull the page out now and again to show people.

This page was a challenge set by UKS and had to include the following
Fairytale/ Nursery Rhyme or childrens book title - to represent national book week
Wavey lines - to represent 'Wrigleys' 30th Birthday
A hidden element - to represent April Fools Day
Spring Colours
Use a clock or the time somewhere on the layout

Makes your really think about your page! Maybe we could do something like this on the Craft Central site in weeks to come Question

Beautiful page Christine. Imagine when she is older and showing that to her children / grandchildren. How fantastic is scrapbooking.

Snow WHITEand trip idea with kids

Post by Crafting Learning on Wed 02 Apr 2008, 10:29 am

I LOVE THIS PAGE!!! I am a teacher and what A GREAT idea!!!!! So clever with the door opening and just the perfect PIC!!!!!!!

I love all the pages by the way...but some I will be scrap nicking tonight!!!! lol

We are heading to Belgium next week for the break and I have a craft carrier. So I pack it up -my hubby used to complain - ok just the first time. But one summer he saw all the work I did and my kids joined it.. They made cards. It was a fun night time activity. This year (and yes I think I'm a little crazy). I am bringing a small sony photo printer that will connect to my laptop. My thought is... (and I'll tell you how it works).. I have 3 journals for each child. At the end of the day ..they will print out their favorite pic or pics of the day..and scrapbook/journal them. It interested my son last year - he's 14...but I am a little guarded on my scrapbooks...lol so its hard to 'share' them. Him and my daughter have their own now. I don't mind sharing by papers and fun stuff.. but scrapbooking to me is like writing a story. I like to surprize them with each page set when I'm done. So I'm excited to see what they will do. I'll upload some when we get back.

Wanted to keep this page clean and simple so it did not detract from the photo. Using a 12 x 12 of black card with cream matting and layering and a splash of gold paint gave the page enough depth. I just stamped some swirls to accentuate the arrow and border. Really pleased with the end result.

This ia an SB Album I have started and aim to continue with. I was looking through all old photos and we have had a few pets, I thought it would be nice to imortalise them all in an album of there own. It's sad going through these as none of these are with us any more so I have had a little cry, I loved them all so much. However, they gave us alot of pleasure & love.

I was a little busy yesterday lol I haven't put them all up. Well I have been using some of the lovely stash Grey two scoops & rub ons and LA traditional as well as bazzil card and PM buttons.

I hope you like them, Dawn

These are great Dawn. I think people go though times where they are stuck on one thing and they they leap to another they maybe a couple of weeks later they leap back.

Well I can be like that!!!!!!

Once again great pages Dawn you must have been busy.
