And I keep seeing that scary pic of admin, everywhere I go. Do we want to be scared of admin? shouldn't it be a friendly pic.... welcoming even.. aproacable, and shameless plugging on every thread

I am glad you said that. That horrid thing gives me nightmares. Every time I see a post by admin I have to cover the right hand side of my screen and make sure my little boys are not looking at the screen. There must be nicer pics you could use Admin. Please

God these are sooooo lovely. I tried it myself but it went horribly wrong lol I used clearembossing powder, is that the wrong thign to use ? I was so sad that my poor pendants didnt work. I wanted to ruse the stampbord domino size blocks instead of dominoes to see if it was possible... back to the corner ithink to try again lol ^_^

Beautiful work. Don't be scared, your pendants should sell to anyone with good taste Wink haha!

I'm so sorry you've had a disaster nici - I started off using clear embossing powder but prefer glossy accents as it gives a better shine (and doesn't cause ink 'bleeding'). however I found out that glossy accents can affect the colours of some things as the domino with gold leaf was originally the abalone effect metal leaf - once the glossy accents had dried all the colour had gone leaving it just gold!......don't know how that happened, but i liked it anyway!!
don't be put off though........if at first you don't succeed....... Very Happy

Glossy Accents is a clear dimensional glaze. A bit like a varnish but it gives a raised effect.

Thanks for all your compliments. It's a stamp (was free with Craft stamper in Feb, I think)!

thanx chrisG - having a small area to work on is quite good for focussing the mind! you have to be selective about what you include, and leave out all the rest! Very Happy
