I would love one of these they are fab, and I don't even wear jewelry. I must find the dominoes I had, not that even being told would help me create such beautiful pieces. Again teresa you have out done yourself, I actually think these are better than the others (well more dressy not better).

thankyou everyone for your kind words - i glue the beads on when I've finished decorating the dominoes. I'm currently looking for an outlet to sell them (I have somewhere in mind but need to pluck up the courage to approach the boutique owner!)
Also need more dominoes..... Very Happy

Love your mosaics, thomas, I found them really fiddly to apply so well done to you!

ALTERED ART

Post by Squirrel on Thu 24 Apr 2008, 9:46 pm

Thomas I was very proud of my Box, until I saw yours now I will go back to the drawing board. Here's mine anyway it was an every day collection box (create & Craft) I painted it first with Antique gold, then with a wash of Earth Borwn/True red 70/30 mix when it was all dry I coated the lot with poster varnish and stuck some of the oriental ribbon stickers on it. I would from experiance suggest to rough the box first to make the paint adhere.[img][/img] silent
