Hi there, sorry that I haven't been on for a long time, I have been so busy at work that I am getting home exhausted. Also I have had a couple of personal upsets & felt like doing nothing at all, still trying to get over it now but I am on holiday next week & a lot of people say I need this break - which brings me to here!!!

I am going up to Blackpool & the Lake District (Keswick area) and of course I am in need of some great craft shops not only in that area but a good excuse ...

Yes fab news for all crafters alike, if you have ever wanted to have a go now is the time, it's also a fab opportunity to make new friends share ideas and just get together!

We will have the 1st crop on 5th July and hopefully every 1st Sat. of the month. Time is not set as yet but it's thought 2-4pm would be a good time, and a small fee of �2.50 -�3 for A brew and the basics will be available by this they meen mats craft knife glue, so bring a project your working on or buy a few bits ...

Rubber Stamp Cleaning

Apologies if i have put this in the wrong section

I found this tip in a craft magazine over the weekend & thought I would share it with you all.

To clean your rubber stamps use a cheap battery operated toothbrush, gets right into the small areas.

I haven't tried it yet but I know we have a 'pound shop' nearby so I am going to get one of them & try it out on my stamps will let you know how I get on.

Hi Everyone, I thought it would be interesting to see where and wot everyone is getting up to this summer?

I'm currently helping at my local primary school (untill they break up for the summer) then we are off to the south of France for our camping holiday. I was looking at the temperature on the computer this afternoon and it was 20oc in Peterborough and 34oc where we are going!!!! Lets hope it stays that way!

I thought I would start this topic to create an opportunities for ATC swaps at Bicester

This Saturday we will be ready to swap! Plus...the Do-Craft demo is on so you'll have a fun, learning day all around.

2nd - I was wondering if any one would like to do a SMALL ATC swap circle. 5 people make 5 ATCs (all the same) and we swap them amongst each other. So each person each ends up with 5 different ones. I was thinking we could have a theme? If more than 5 would like to try it..we can. ...

Due to the popularity of the TV congo game I felt I was time to start another version!!! So this is the start of the Craft Item congo line.

Hi I have recently purchased SCAL after playing with the demo and it's fab but was wondering if anyone else had used it and if they new any places that have svg files to use with SCAL that actually work effectively?

I have some freebies from another site which are okay but sometimes the last cut goes scew whiff like a point for no reason has anyone else had this problem xxx

I think this has an amazing amount of possiblities!!

you must send the ATCs in an envelope with a

LARGE LETTER STAMP AND FOR THE RETURNED ATC'S large letter stamped addressed envelope

For anyone who doesnt know, ATC's are 2.5ins x 3.5ins insize, you can use any media or technique you like

Not neccessary to use a plastic pocket, although ...

X Cut Trimmer Spares

I have the X Cut Trimmer which I use all the time. The problem is I have worn out the rubber strip that the blade cuts on. I have turned it around so many times but it's now completely worn out. Do you know if you can get a spare strip? I really don't want to have to buy a new one

I've heard there are to be no more paper copies of Craft Now and that something will be available on the website. I don't know if there is any truth in that, but I sincerely hope not. I've found the magazine to be really good as the projects are enterprising and different, and the skills of the designers inspirational.

I have recently started Patchwork quilting and was asked to display my first attempt by some one on the site, this is it, the cussion, lol not the cat, that is Hunny she is adorable. I was quite pleased with it, the cussion i meen. It didn't take long only a few hours in fact, ignor the date I couldn't change the date on my camera doh!

Hi,

I have a major exam day tomorrow! I have got three exams all in one day. I'm meant to have two exams at the same time firstly!!! (Thats good planning for you) so I have got to do one in the afternoon, however this means that I have to be kept away from everyone between the two. (Lovely sat in an office with lots of people you don't know for about an hour!!).

Anyway after tomorrow I only have one more exam this week and then two more next week, I have then finished them ALL!!!!! ...
