just wondered if anyone has heard anything yet about how long it is going to take to get our money
the waiting is a nightmare
no job yet either
have heard that craft central has changed its address does anyone know what it is

Hi not much help i know, but, i phoned administrator today and was told that he should be checking forms he has received today and passing them to the government office dealing with our claims in tonights post. Sorry don't know how long it will take after that.

one of our ladies was told it will be between 2 and 8 weeks before we get our wages. so we shall have to wait and see,

I was in panic-mode this morning when I recieved a reply from"The Isolvancy Service". It said that I was not entitled to payments from them due to my employer not being INSOLVENT!! When I finally got through, I was told there had been "crossed wires" and that we would be getting paid, but our details had been sent to the wrong department! Apparently, they should have gone to Birmingham but did'nt, but they are now on there way, so not to worry!!! DON'T WORRY? It's o.k for them to say "don't worry". I bet they did'nt worry them-selves sick all over Xmas & New Year and till now. I bet they are not worrying now, wondering when they are going to get money that they have have earnt (since November) or when they are going to get another job to pay bills that are mounting up! Could add to this but is making me cross just thinking about it, so i'll leave it there.
I was told by, the very nice lady who told me not to worry, that if I have'nt heard any-thing inthe next 3 weeks to ring 01214564411. I may be ringing that number a little sooner than 3 weeks, don't know about you!

I agree to that. We ALL have to stick together on this one. The more voices that shout, the harder it will be for them not to listen

Am not just angry but sad as well to lose a job that I loved. I will really miss all the friends, work-mate and customers, that I made along the way.

i have been into the cc iver store that closed and everyone was made redundant and has still not had any money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this store is now being opened up by aston trading which has the kings working for them
the previous area manager is taking over the shop and it is meant to be opening on friday
well guess who was there at the shop over seeing the opening and the stock going out
you guessed it the man himself DAN KING
he is supposed to only be having an input while it is being set up
well if you believe that then you will believe anything
if anyone worked for that man again they would be a complete mug and he would not be able to keep his nose out of the shop
how does he have the nerve to go back to a business after dropping all of his staff and not paying them,
how did he and how does he get away with it is he god!!!!!!!!
i know i wont buy anything from any store that he has anything to do with!!!!!!

As we all know who he is trading as now, you can guarantee that alot of ex staff will not be shopping at any of his shops again and have to admit i will tell friends what shops he will be running aswell so they can decide if they want to shop there.

Would love to work for the new owner of craft central though if i got the chance as i enjoyed my job

If its Caroles Crafts that I had previously read then I know of another store thats re-opened under that.

and all i can say is that i will not be shopping there the thought of running into that man makes me mad!!!!!

Thats why I was checkin the name because I know of a few stores that have opened or re-opening under that name. If its associated with him then we should all be aware has I agree that any of the ex staff wont be lining his pockets or all of our loyal customers that he ranted and raved in front of.

i cant believe that a member of staff that used to work at iver is actually going back to work there
even though she knows that aston trading are taking it over and that dan king is going to be involved with it
she must be mad!!!
hes done it once he could do it again and again!!!!
i wouldnt give him the time of day!!!
i dont know how he has the front to show his face at the garden centre in front of customers that all know what he did to his staff!!!
people are all still waiting for what they are owed and i bet hes not counting the pennies!!!!!
