Carole's Crafts

Post  Jackie in Bristol on Sat 31 Jan 2009, 6:41 pm

Now that Craft Central is no more, will this website be closing, and will Carole's Crafts be starting their own?

You obviously haven't noticed some of the other threads. Craft Central have been aquired by another owner and have reopened some stores so far and are hoping to open more in the future. I believe this forum has not been controlled by the previous owners for some time. (I'm sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong Wink ).

Hi Bod

No I had read the threads, and I went into the Bristol store on Saturday.

Sorry, should have been clearer .... I meant this web site. Will this web site be closing and will Carole's Crafts start their own?

The new owner of Craft Central sent me a pm to asked if I would add a forum called 'Craft Central Future' so that he can keep everyone up to date on whats happening etc.

This forum is totally independent of the last owners, and so far the new ones.

I dont know what is happening to the website, there is a message on the homepage from Paul Cook who I believe looked after the website. I think the website will still exist in one form or another, but even if it is taken off the forum will still be here.

Thanks for that Admin. I am very aware that now there are two camps; Craft Central and Carole's Crafts, it would be very easy to inadvertantly upset or insult the outgoing with simple comments in support of the new.

The administrators are Leonard Curtis, DTE House, Hollins Mount, Bury, Lancs. BL9 8AT. 0161 767 1250. I think this would probably be your best line of communication
