Any news on Altrincham?

I heard a rumour that Craft Central Altrincham would be reopening, but I can't find any information about it anywhere. Can the new owners say what the plans are for Altrincham? We're desperate for a craft shop in this area, as there are none. At the moment, a lot of people are travelling to Frodsham to Rosemary Merry's Crab Apple Crafts shop, but this isn't ideal as it's quite a way. We have a Hobbycraft at Stockport, but they're expensive & don't always stock what you need. There's a small shop in Stretford, but again it doesn't stock enough. Plus, some local people don't have their own transport, so can't get to these shops. So please please please can we have an Altrincham shop? I'm sure there would be plenty of custom for it.

I run local craft workshops & a craft club & most of my customers & club members keep asking about Craft Central - they used to pop in on the way to/from the club/classes & are really missing it (I'm located about 2 mins away from the old shop).

just heard craft central altincham re opening dont have anymore details some of the ex staff are helping out

i dont know how Dan has got the god damn cheek to re open any shop let alone Altrincham, some staff going back to work for him

So I take it that this IS the same Carole's Crafts as run by Aston Trading? Hmmm. I'm a bit torn now - I NEED a local craft shop, but I'm not totally happy if the Kings are involved due to how ex staff were treated. I'll have to have a think about it.

some ex staff going back i for one am daft but not that stupid!

For your information, Dan hasn't reopened Altrincham. and we are not working for him. I am not "STUPID", I need to earn a living, and I enjoy my job, we are working with Dan, and for Alan Dunn of Aston Trading. We have all had a bad time, I am putting it all behind me and getting on with things. Also opening very soon is Bold Heath as "CAROLES CRAFTS".
