Re: What's your favorite magazine
Well Tracy I have to say I'm a bit fickle it depends on which has the shiniest goodies to go along with !! I have to say I love a good freebie especially as most mags now cost £7.99 !!!! But if I see one with a really good project I fancy having a go at I will buy that too lol
Re: What's your favorite magazine
trying to cut out buying so many mags used to buy loads and realised how much I was spending and it could go on stash instead so just buy a couple a month now and make up my mind from cover but do seem to buy simple cardmaking and papercraft a lot
Re: What's your favorite magazine
I am much more selective and restrict myself to four; Papercrafts Inspiration which I have on subscription as there was a good deal, Parchment Craft Magazine occasionally, Docrafts Creativity and Craft Now. Once my sub runs out for Papercrafts Inspiration I will sub to Parchment Craft, but Creativity and Craft Now will always be on my list as they are, quite frankly, good value at a low price.
Re: What's your favorite magazine
I can't live without Scrapbook Inspirations, and have just started buying Craft Stamper again. They both have original ideas and techniques that I love to try out.
Altering the World
Scrapbook Inspirations and Our Craft Central (really!)
Me too! I am really impressed with Scrapbook Inspirations and I get Memory Makers from the US as well. But I really like how they take one page set up and show different ways of using them.
Craft Central and Do CRAFTs is perfect for a new to the UK (like me) or learning new crafts. I see things in it and I can go out and try it

Re: What's your favorite magazine
I agree do crafts £1 & craft central although mostly marketing although you need to know whats new but some good ideas and very good but i also like the scrapbook inspirations very helpful not just selling all the time.
dont you find some are more about advertising than crafting?
and you pay a small fortune so grown wise to that one very quickly and would much rather spend on stash

Re: What's your favorite magazine
I subscribe to Scrapbook inspirations and love it. However I have a thing for magazines as my good crafting friend will tell you. I also buy Scrapbook Magazine, Papercraft inspirations, Quick and Crafty, Beautiful cards, Crafts beautiful, Simply cards and papercraft, Papercraft essentials, Memory makers ( USA), Scrapbooking and beyond (USA) and Hobby Handig (Dutch). These are bought when I can and if I like the gifts or projects. I do however always make a point of buying the Do Crafts Creativity magazine as it is fantastic value for money and is jammed full of ideas.
I just bought issue 9 of craft now yesterday from Hawley craft central and sadly have to say it seems more like a staff magazine and has lots of ads I did not find it very inspiring. I will still check it out in the future to see what it holds.

Re: What's your favorite magazine
I quite like Do-Crafts Creativity, just because of the different projects and 'free' stickers. I don't tend to buy a lot of craft magazines, I use other forums for inspiration really....
Re: What's your favorite magazine
I agree about forums being a hive of creative ideas look alot and had a few ideas but i do like a mag to look at and refer to when i'm crafting also some good web site to look at although get that on here too

Re: What's your favorite magazine
I only buy Making Cards Magazine now. I use to buy 3 or 4 a month, but they were starting to pile up so if I see one now that looks interesting to me, I will buy one. I do like the Do Crafts one as it is good value. But so far I have not seen a Craft Central one as we do not have a store very near us to buy one

I get most from WH Smith and Asda. If anyone lives near swanley kent the market sells mags and sometimes has craft ones from the USA very cheap also news agents in london sell world wide ones. The dutch one I get from family in Holland.
