Re: wages in my bank
Checked at my bank. Jack S--- has gone in mine! I got so excited at the thought of even a bit of what I am owed going in. At the end of the day, I think they are relying on people being thank-full that they have got some-thing!

Re: wages in my bank
got my statement today, and husband was right, I've been paid my wages owed , less 20% basic tax, statement shows that nothing was taken off for National insurance, so now got to chase down pay in lieu of notice, and holiday pay. 'fraid I don't subscribe to the school of thought about being grateful for what I've been paid, it is mine by right, I've worked for it and am legally entitled to get it, so don't intend to give it up without a fight!

Re: wages in my bank
I agree totally im going to fight for mine. Im a single parent of two girls and their christmas suffered because of what happened.
I think your N.I contributions depended on hours you did. I know lots of staff that couldnt claim jobseekers because of not enough N.I contributions.
I have to chase up hol pay too. The week in lieu we have to wait for the form to come through so I am led to believe.
I hope I dont get taxed on much more because the tax they took off me this time was alot more than the wage slip said. I know that was a guide but if they keep takin it off not gonna be much left. Paying it in bits its worse.

The Forms come through automatically, I had mine on thurs although I've not been paid a penny yet. I just think now everything will come together, there's no point getting upset and angry. Just think you're better than that.

If you read the original letter it tells you what you will get and when. Any money paid to you now is everything except the pay in lieu. You will receive a form any time now (I have already had mine), this is to claim pay in lieu. You will also be receiving a breakdown of the pay. Try having a little patience at least you know you will get paid, remember we are not the only people they have to deal with, in the current financial climate they must be dealing with tens of thousands of forms. I think you'll find we aren't delt with as individuals each section is sorted by different departments. Just imagine the mess we would be in if the government had no provisions for dealing with us, what would you do then?

Re: wages in my bank
Have to take you to task a little on what you say Daise, "Any money paid to you now is everything except the pay in lieu." is not correct, those of us who are owed holiday pay were not paid it when our wages owed were paid. I've spoken to the Insolvency service this afternoon and been told that holiday pay is being dealt with this week and payment of it will follow, RP2 forms, as you correctly state will be sent out for us to fill in for pay in lieu of notice, perhaps you have already got yours as you were not owed any further monies, apart from payment in lieu. It isn't a case of being impatient, but of not being kept informed.

Re: wages in my bank
Thanks cake n craft I was thinking the same Im not impatient and did read letter and that lead us all to believe we would get our hol pay if owed with our earned hours. I had received a break down of what I was paid and just wanted to query what I had been told because no one seems to be getting the same answers.

Re: wages in my bank
Hi craftymaz, can I ask what you were told today that was different to what I'd been told? I'm just curious to know what somebody else's version at the Insolvency agency was.
Thanks
