CRAFT CENTRAL STORES REOPENING
Has any-one heard if Tom has come to the rescue of any more CRAFT CENTRAL'S?
I have been doing voluntary craft demo's at my local hospice and they are all asking when some-one is going to open another craft shop around here. Every-one is saying how much they miss us and that they can't find any-where else to go for what they need.
If you read this Tom, PLEASE remember we waited a long time to get a good craft shop in the south. They seem to be swarming with them up north but we southerners still need some-where to get our "Fix" from. I am trying to think possitivebut loved my job so much I am finding it really hard.

Things have gone quiet again. The Daisy Nook shop still gets people going and walking away when they find out they are not there.
Although the garden centre may not be available as they have taken over the shop but there are a few other premises not that far away for rent in ideal locations close to bus routes and ideal for the new metro link due to be built between manchester and ashton.

You're right Janet, about customers still going to the old Daisy Nook branch, I bump into our old customers all the time and they always ask if we are re-opening as they really miss the convenience for their day to day requirements - and the staff of course!!!!

i went to stitch craft at manchester central(gmex) last week at saw lots of "friends" who use to shop at craft central and first question was "are they going to open up another shop in the area soon"
i think i spent more time chatting to old friends than shopping
