LOL here here, seems like a similar thread runs through all the stores, great staff (!!), loyal customers who loved to come in and chat as well as buy. What a treasure the last owner had in all his stores and staff and didn't realise/
appreciate it!!!

Re: re-open a store in tameside - daisy nook
I have been to the garden centre a lot lately, popping in for a cuppa and am really surprised at the amount of people who are just walking away when they see the shop no longer there.
They dont even stop for a drink and go out empty handed. A member of staff also commented that their trade had gone down since we closed. The space where the shop was is now being used for barbecues and chimnieas part has been turned into storage.
That does not mean though that there is no possibility of going back there, it is a large garden centre and I am sure some room could be found if Richard would have us back. Failing that there are other possibilities in the area as there is Ashton Moss who are bigger.
Who knows what the future holds maybe we will be lucky enough to have a craft shop locally again.
Tommy if you read this there is a need for a shop in that location and it doesn't have to be in a garden centre there are other premises available if you look in the right place.
