Pyramid 3D cards

Post by larryal on Tue 01 Apr 2008, 8:01 pm

If, like me, you like the effect of 3d decoupage but don’t have the patience or the eyesight to fiff and fiddle cutting out those tiny little bits, I recommend pyramid 3D.
My favourite has to be twisted pyramid by relative newcomers “Design house” Not only do they obligingly include tags and horizontal and vertical trim strips on the decoupage sheet but the backing paper takes the form of two A5 complementing designs on one sheet. As even I can manage to cut a straight line, my finished cards worked out rather well and as soon as I work out how, I’ll post them. The designs are shamelessly pinched/copied/based on/adapted from the cards produced by the creative talents of my local do-craft ladies at Burnside nursery Thornton/Carleton.

If you look in Galleries - POST YOUR CARDS HERE - then you will see some samples i posted last week Very Happy Thought they were really great and add new dimension to card making. our local CC did not have the backing papers, but it was easy to embellish with the strips and tags

Great cards! I love the blue westies, they did'nt have that at my local CC, though I know it's on order. I discovered your cards AFTER I posted and it's good to see how others have used the same material.
