Poll - How do you rate the forum so far?
Now that the forum's well on it's way, I was wondering what people thought about it. Bearing in mind that we've only been going for a few weeks, how do you rate it so far?

Re: Poll - How do you rate the forum so far?
me too there a few things i found difficult at first like posting a photo and I feel it could be better layed out so it is easier to find things, but it's new and finding its feet and i'm sure this will improve.

Most forums have a sepllchecker...But it appears not this one. I also looked for a spell checker but I can't see one either. A little annoying, because I tend to make so many typos when I type... (I am too fast when I type so my fingers kinda get tangled up lol
Bit silly if there isn't one!
Forum is nice so far. I still think it needs tidying up. There are posts I keep losing because they are not categorized properly, from when the forum was first "online" and we had no specific places to put things. Apart from that minor issue, the whole thing is growing nicely. It would be nice to see more general public post... do you think staff are scaring them all away

Wonder when the rest will be up and running and what is in store for us, do you think admin could put a post up to give a glimps of what's in store for the web site i meen, it may give others that are visiting an excuse to pop back if they have an idea when things will be happening.

I agree a spell checker would be great. Also it would be great to have a way of tagging or saving pics ideas that we really like for quick ref later.
I must admit that as part of thr general rif raf ( public ) I did feel a little out of place at first, but is good to get to know staff from our reg stores. We also get to hear very quickley about new things going on in store and also are able to give them ideas about what we would like to see. So it is great to have all the great staff to hand 24 7. They need extra wages as they never really finish work. Well done folks

Re: Poll - How do you rate the forum so far?
I have been told by some people that the forum is a bit clannish and that its more for staff than anyone else so come on folks chat to everyone and make everyone welcome.
Re: Poll - How do you rate the forum so far?
To encourage customers to come and have a look at the new website and forum I have made a sign for our shop with the web address and all of the features of the website. But I only know one person on here that is one of our customers.
So if any one is a customer of Craft Central Crowland please say hello!!
As for a spell checker I think that would be a great idea, as I am sure you have all seen by spelling is not the best in the world!

I agree about tagging & saving stuff, never thought of it as clannish on ere.
I don't work at a CC and I talk to every one and they all answer queries etc its great, so please join in as its growing more and more people are talking and seting up new topics and i have found them really interesting all your ideas/imput i'm sure are more than welcome.

I dont think of it as clanish. Yes there are a lot of staff on every day but that is a good thing as the site is new they can promote it and in store stuff. I Try to comment on most posts and always welcome new folk when I come accross them.
Just need to give it a chance its a new site and I am sure there is a lot more planned and a lot of things in the pipe line.
Keep up the good work.
