Re: Hi fellow cardmakers!
Woop woop good old bicester!!! Lol, Did you come for the demo today alfie? Annette had some lovely cards (Annette Devonport from DoCrafts) Im going to have a go at her wedding card which had tiers on the inside (reminded me of kids pop-up cards) but it was really effective!! Wish me luck!
Oh and hello all!!!!
Oh and hello all!!!!
Re: Hi fellow cardmakers!
I've never met a craft shop I didn't like (unless it was shut
) but Bicester has to be my absolute favourite. Terri pointed me in the right direction for equipment when I started cardmaking and the encouragement from all the staff there has challenged me to try so many techniques and have got me totally hooked on ATCs and scrapbooking. Viva Craft Central!!!
re hello
Hi just my first post, looking forward to chatting to you all, and seeing your creations in the gallery, who knows I might even upload some myself!
Happy Easter oh and don't get any chocolate on your cards!!!!

I've got those too. They are brilliant!
Re: Hi fellow cardmakers!
Hi everyone who's added to this!
I bought some cheap normal watercolour paints to mix in with the metallics, they really improve the depth of colour, and the red looks great on black card (poppies, oriental themes). they also make great sunsets.
Have you seen how The Works are in administration?! I had to go and buy 3 more sets of the paints in case they closed!!! You'd think I'd keep them afloat with how much I spend in there!

Craft shops are the best and as sad as it is I am starting to like them more than shoe shops. My friend and I are going to go on a craft shop crawl this summer. so if you know of any craft shops just off the M25 from junctions 6 to1 or near by, then plese let us know we can then add them to our list and start to plan our route. Many thanks. You never know we may bump into some of you along the way.

Hi newbies. If you put your Location on your profile we will be able to see where you come from, which is always interesting.
Nice to meet you.

Hi, I have just joined. I am so relieved to see that there are other people like me who just cannot stop buying cardmaking stuff.
I used to have to trail to Wakefield or Leeds but now you have made it so easy for me by opening up a Craft Central at Carr Gate. Which is literally just up the road. I went the other day and spent a wonderful morning looking, and yes, buying even more crafty stuff. The lady who served me was, I think, called Rita. She was very helpful. I most certainly will shop there in future.
