Hello I am new
Hi there,
I am new to this forum so I thought I would pop by and say hello.
I have been into card making for a few years now, starting off with tapestry, then cross stitching. About 6-7 years ago I went to my first craft fair in Bournemouth where I saw rubber stamps being sold & they looked so easy to create into cards. With the help of my Mum & Christmas coming up between us we purchased a couple of things, but started only using a toaster, only to find the smell was horrible!!!
During Christmas 2004 I was housebound after a major hip operation & that's when I started my first card making using not only rubber stamps but peel off stickers.
The rest is history as they say as I can't stop anymore in not only getting rubber stamps but also embellishments & peel off stickers.
I work full time so I don't really get a chance to do so much anymore, even weekends are busy with my other hobby - which is going to the theatre around the country visiting friends in different musicals - but I do try & keep Sunday by to make cards.
Sorry that I have gone on a bit, I am like that when I am new (!!!) but I will pop by now & again to get some hints & tips & hope to help out other people.
