Exploding box
Hi Craftylou, you will need 4 sheets of 12 x 12 card stock
3 sheets for the box and one for thse lid.
first sheet measures 30cm x 30cm then divide into 3 x 10cms. vertically
and horizontally. Then cut the 4 corner squares away
second sheet measures 28.5 x28.5 then divide into 3 x 9.5cms vertically and hoiizontally
Then cut the 4 corner squares away
Third sheet meaurses 27 x27cms then divide into 3 x 9 cms vertically and horizontally.
then cut the 4 corner squares away.
Fourth sheet is the lid meaurse 17.5 x17.5 square.then score all 4 sides in 3.5cm. fold and cut to score line at each corner to form lid
Fold the 4 squares up to form box shape and glue each section in centre
Place lid on. You can decortate as you wish.
I hope this is helpful to you. Belle

Re: Expolding Boxes
Forgot to say you need to start with a 21cms square. Divide each side into 3 (every 7cms) and score between marks. Make another 2 sets getting slightly smaller (20cms square and a 19cms square) dividing the sides by 3 each time and scoring across. Your lid would be approx 10cms square (7cms plus 1.5cm each side). I've done this quickly so check dimensions with plain paper first.
