ATC Swaps at Hawley

Post  craftytrog on Sun 16 Mar 2008, 12:19 am

Hi, I'm Alison and I work part-time at Hawley Craft Central. I would love to swap ATCs with anyone who's interested. I usually use stamps on my ATCs, and love making my own backgrounds. My fingers are normally inky! Please call the store if you are interested Very Happy

I think we have met Alison, I have been in a few times and think I may have chatted to you about Orpington( living there) However sorry I cant remember what you look like. Where you in store last sat I came in with my little boy he was given the last choc bunny. (Thank you).
I have never made an ATC do you get special cards to decorate or do you make your own and if so what size are they. Forgive me for being thick but do you just do as you would with a card or scapbook page? Please tell me more.
Many thanks
Jude nice but dim cyclops

ATC Board at Hawley is now up and running!

Post  craftytrog on Fri 28 Mar 2008, 10:47 pm

Hi Judith,

Sorry, haven't been on forum for a few days. Yes, I was there when your cute little boy got the last choccy bunnie. To answer your question about ATCs, just get a piece of card sized 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" ( i.e. playing card size), then decorate it like you would a hand-made card. You can use anything you like, i.e stamping, decoupage, paper and stickers. If you look on the gallery part of this forum, you'll see some lovely examples of ATCs. I think they were by 'HokeyCokey'. Our Do-Craft demo day is tomorrow 10 - 4 if you are free. I can't promise any choccy bunnies though!! I look forward to seeing you soon,

love Alison x

Hi Hawley
hi Station and Crowland
I'm sure you have a very good swap circle there but I wondered if any of your children would be interested in a special online childrens swap, gives them something to do in the holidays. If so please see School's out! summer holiday ATC swap for children

At Blackpool CC we are running a childrens craft club during the holidays, I'm sure you are doing something similar. Could we not all combine our childrens talents in a childrens ATC swap(see the Schools out thread)swap? Please think about it and get back to me.
